About The Position

Manages the operational activities of Accion Services by warehousing customers’ accounts by overseeing the shipping, receiving, inventory, quality, communication, safety, and personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three+ years of relevant warehouse leadership experience with direct reports
  • Ability to operate various forklifts and similar equipment and train equipment operators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly proficient in the English language
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of basic OSHA and operational safety standards
  • Motivated, energetic, and growth-oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Reader, WMS/IMS, Box, and other relevant applications

Responsibilities

  • Embraces and promotes Accion Services core values.
  • Provides world-class and proactive service by being the customers’ primary point of contact and advocate, scheduling regular check-ins, and actively looking for better ways to serve
  • Manages the schedule for inbounds and outbounds for customers and vendors
  • Ensures productivity requirements for each customer
  • Manages the billing for each customer
  • Leads daily huddles with the team to plan for the day, promote open communication, and for employee relations
  • Manages each customer’s service level agreement (SLA) and tracks on-time shipping (OTS)
  • Tracks errors and other KPIs
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory management
  • Prepares and presents reports as requested
  • Manages the 5S program for the team’s zone
  • Ensures all Associates are following safety protocols and proactively addresses realized or potential safety concerns
  • Ensuring that all certification requirements are followed, tracked, and trained
  • Identifies and resolves problems through root cause and corrective action (RCCA) analysis; escalates issues to the Warehouse Manager as appropriate
  • Plans for next day’s success and tracks the progress of work in progress
  • Write and updates work instructions as needed
  • Consistently looks for opportunities to improve processes and quality
  • Works alongside the Associates providing coverage when and where needed
  • Travel to other Accion Services locations or customers’ sites may occasionally be required
  • Always maintain a safe work environment and report all workplace injuries in compliance with company policy.
  • Other duties and projects assigned
  • Interview, help with hiring decisions, and trains new Associates
  • Oversees the team’s daily workflow; schedules the Associates and their tasks
  • Provides constructive quarterly one-on-ones/performance evaluations
  • Handles Associates’ discipline and termination per company policies
  • Shares expertise with Warehouse Associates through training and coaching; trains new Associates on processes, procedures, and Accion Services culture
