Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Operations Manager located in Northfield, MN. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence. What a typical day looks like: Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels. Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI. Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints. Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence. Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices. Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to. Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews. Coach and mentor Operations team. Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes. Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 6 – 8 years of operations experience in similar role in the electronic manufacturing industry, including supervision. People and/or process management skills as well as customer. Prior experience supporting operations in a union environment. Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 6 – 8 years of operations experience in similar role in the electronic manufacturing industry, including supervision.
  • People and/or process management skills as well as customer.
  • Prior experience supporting operations in a union environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Working usage of Word, Excel and Power Point, ERP software (Oracle).
