About The Position

The ESU Program Manager plays a critical leadership role within SIS Special Operations, overseeing the operational execution and administrative management of Off-Duty Officer (ODO) programs supporting a key client portfolio. This position partners closely with SIS leadership and client stakeholders to ensure service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across multiple locations. The ESU Program Manager is responsible for personnel coordination, client engagement, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement of program processes, while maintaining a high-performing, professional, and responsive security team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, emergency management, business management, or related discipline or equivalent
  • Five plus years experience in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement or military, or security control room supervision
  • ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, Lenel, Salesforce
  • Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
  • Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
  • Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, schedule, and manage assigned Off-Duty Officer (ODO) personnel across multiple locations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client site and program leadership, ensuring expectations, service levels, and contractual requirements are met
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergent, time-sensitive, and last-minute client requests
  • Ensure strict compliance with post orders, program SOPs, and client-specific security requirements
  • Manage timekeeping, OPD time punches and expense reporting for assigned personnel
  • Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training for new and existing program locations
  • Foster a strong culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability among SIS personnel and client stakeholders
  • Provide leadership support for special projects, audits, and ad-hoc operational requests
