Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of operations or logistics management experience
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations (Incoterms) and hazardous materials handling
  • Proficiency with logistics software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Open to international travel (periodic basis)
  • Cultural adaptability and interest in working with international teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the logistics team, including recruiting, training and performance evaluations
  • Drive shipping operations excellence while managing carrier relationships and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Toxic Substance Control Act, Hazmat) and international shipping standards (Incoterms)
  • Manage key customer accounts by maintaining current information, capturing requirements, and processing forecasts and spot orders
  • Optimize inventory management and warehouse operations for maximum efficiency
  • Maintain facility standards and drive operational improvements
  • Collaborate across cultures with German headquarters
