About The Position

As a Chemical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety and compliance, overseeing production operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to foster a collaborative environment and act as a key leader within the site.

Requirements

Expertise in OSHA PSM, MOC, and PSSR requirements.
Experience leading PHAs and hazard evaluations.
Proven operational leadership experience in a chemical/process manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
8-10+ years of experience in chemical/process manufacturing leadership, including direct people leadership.
Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

Champion OSHA PSM, MOC, and PSSR requirements and lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and hazard evaluations.
Oversee daily production operations while enforcing a safety-first culture and ensuring environmental compliance under RC standards.
Drive initiatives for yield improvement, cost control, and enhancing process reliability.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and operational efficiency.
Serve as the Plant Manager designee, contributing to succession planning and acting as a key pipeline role for site leadership.
