Operations Manager (fruit)
About The Position
Position available for an Ops Manager in Kirkwood area. You will oversea the operations of a packhouse which includes the quality, logistics, HR and packing programs. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Tertiary qualification preferred At least 7 years experience in fruit industry in a pack house environment (preferably citrus) Knowledge of GlobalGAP, SIZA and Food Safety Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee various departments Budgets Conduct performance management for staff Ensure workforce is optimised Adhere to various safety and compliance standards Oversee admin and HR This position requires you to work long irregular hours in season.
