The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day firm operations, implementing policies and procedures, and working closely with the client service and operations teams. Additional responsibilities include billing, maintenance of reporting dashboards, managing capital calls, and custodian reporting to ensure accurate administration of private investments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in investment operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage and improve operational workflows in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

  • Oversee daily operational activities across the Seattle office, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with firm policies.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to support scalability and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Client Service and Investment Operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of client onboarding, billing, reporting, and account maintenance.
  • Manage private investment processes including capital calls, distributions, and custodian reporting.
  • Maintain and update operational dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and custodian partners (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) to resolve complex operational or client-related issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on operational best practices and internal systems (CRM, portfolio management software, and custodial platforms).
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement projects to streamline operations firmwide.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Business, or Economics preferred).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment operations or client service, ideally within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or investment management environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, financial reporting, and client account administration.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tamarac, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with custodian platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, or TD Ameritrade is a plus.
