Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize work to meet weekly auction schedule.
  • Must be up to date on OSHA requirements and able to train employees as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate well with all levels.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent as a minimum. Associate degree or higher in business or related degree preferred.
  • At least three years as a manager or in a comparable position.
  • At least two years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to learn company specific computer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules workload for the most efficient use of equipment and staff.
  • Participates in the auction process and troubleshoots as necessary.
  • Participates in staff meetings providing direction and support for the growth of the company.
  • Must be able to delegate and assign tasks to ensure each area of the is properly maintained.
  • Communicates with other departments to maintain the lot and facility.
  • Must be able to control supply inventories based on needs.
  • Must be able to counsel and discipline in line with all federal and state laws.
