Operations Manager - Must have kitchen/bath remodeling experience
About The Position
We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in home renovation, kitchen and bath remodeling, plumbing, and general contracting . This is a full-time, management-focused position where you’ll lead installation crews, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure every project is completed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will report to our office in Orange Park, FL. You’ll work closely with our Project Coordinators to manage job scheduling, oversee installations, handle customer escalations, and provide on-the-job training and support. Hands-on installation experience is required, as you may occasionally assist crews in the field.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in home renovation, kitchen and bath remodeling, or a related trade
- Strong plumbing knowledge and ability to support plumbing-related installations
- Background in the general contractor space
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Hands-on installation experience (able to assist crews when needed)
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage installation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and to company quality standards
- Conduct morning startups , assign daily tasks, and monitor crew performance
- Check in on active jobs throughout the day to ensure progress, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer escalations professionally, mitigating issues and ensuring a positive resolution
- Oversee installation scheduling , job completion verification , and quality assurance
- Support installers in the field with technical issues or complex installations
- Provide on-the-job training and ongoing coaching to installers
- Collaborate with Project Coordinators to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage warehouse inventory , materials, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with permitting, documentation, and CRM requirements
- Track job costs , analyze service trends, and implement process improvements
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of installation staff
