About The Position
Ponder Environmental Services is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of our Benicia office. This role is critical to ensuring efficiency, productivity, and continued growth across our operations. As Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in optimizing logistics, managing personnel, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing teams and operational workflows
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to interpret technical, financial, and legal documents
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable presenting to leadership and stakeholders
- Proficiency with business and operational software systems
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Benicia office
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Lead staff meetings and address employee concerns
- Manage supervisors and guide team performance
- Develop schedules, policies, and operational procedures
- Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing
- Support business development through networking and client engagement
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
- Oversee logistics, inventory, shipping, and risk management
- Partner with dispatch and mechanics teams to ensure smooth operations
- Drive cross-department collaboration and efficiency
