About The Position

This involves focusing on regional or upstream distribution centers, target.com fulfillment centers, or import warehouses. Good work is done in Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and overall Distribution Center Productivity, where processes, problem-solving, and technology investments are continuously analyzed and recalibrated. An Operations Manager influences with a focus on safety, leadership, excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork. This role involves fostering a "safety first" culture through awareness, training, and accountability, and establishing oneself as an engaging and inclusive leader responsible for maximizing team productivity, growth, and development. Managers create a positive work environment through real-time observation and constructive feedback. Working with a sense of urgency, the manager ensures operational plans are executed, performance and budget goals are achieved, and teams are informed and coordinated. The position offers autonomy to innovate with new approaches to process and method for efficiency and future process flow optimization, supported by an environment of calculated risk and testing to find root causes of problems. Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the mezzanine platforms
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center, for example, ability to traverse conveyor crossovers
