About The Position

The Operations Manager reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for training, leading, and developing a team of specialists. Key responsibilities include achieving sales and revenue targets, fostering client loyalty and retention, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Additional management duties involve monitoring and optimizing scheduled appointments, field routing, conducting client quality audits, and overseeing account management. Oversee daily operations of specialists to ensure outstanding customer service. Provide guidance to staff across all operational, service, and client care aspects. Manage financial performance, focusing on revenue growth and expense control. Travel daily within the territory to meet clients, support specialists, and collaborate with the sales team on business development. Maintain a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends as needed. Conduct client visits and field inspections. Prepare bids and reports. Train staff on new techniques and products. Manage specific projects, such as fumigation or large accounts. Submit weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in a management role with a focus on customer service
  • Proven success in training, mentoring, and coaching service professionals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain license or certification for the state/province they are operating within 90 days of their start date
  • Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management
  • Ability to perform fieldwork and inspections as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience in a route-oriented service environment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with pest control techniques and products
