About The Position

In coordination with the General Manager, the Operations Manager supervises all Rooms and F&B Departments to ensure standards of operation are maintained and are working in harmony towards the profitability of the hotel.

Requirements

  • 3+ years prior Hospitality Operations experience or assistant general manager experience is required.
  • Degree in related field is a plus.
  • Budget/Financial Management experience required.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead the activities of others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Helps oversee operations functions of the hotel.
  • Leadership of the hotel with regards to revenue generation to meet or exceed budget.
  • Cost control, maintaining standards, daily duties, scheduling, supervision and monitoring, and individual effectiveness.
  • Knows the daily operation of each department within the hotel and establishes and maintains a positive employee climate to meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Manage all hotel services such as guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue management and expense management.
  • Encourages team building and employee development.
  • Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Lead all key property issues.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interests of the hotels and management.
  • Creates an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints and initiating corrective action.
  • Other duties as assigned.
