About The Position

The Airport Operations Manager is responsible for directing the activities of frontline employees at an airport location, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and a positive employee culture. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing performance, and driving sales processes to enhance customer experiences and revenue generation. The manager will also support the Senior Operations Manager and may lead specific brands or functions depending on the location's size.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior experience in customer service or operations.
• Experience in car rental, hospitality, or tourism is a plus.
• Results-oriented with the ability to direct and motivate teams.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of customer service resolution practices and excellent communication techniques.
• People management and leadership capability.
• Sales management and coaching ability.
• Highly organized with problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management skills and customer service aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the car rental industry.
• Familiarity with hospitality or tourism sectors.

Responsibilities

• Direct the process and activities of frontline employees including CSAs, CXAs, Flex Reps, and VSAs.
• Ensure maximum performance through operational leadership and strong communication.
• Oversee daily operations, fleet availability, and revenue generation for assigned functions.
• Lead processes to meet and exceed customer expectations and align the sales force with sales methods.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Drive the sales process to create a customer-focused commercial organization.
• Champion productivity improvements through employee involvement and accountability.
• Engage in effective communication plans to build employee engagement.
• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Manage the airport and assigned locations when the General Manager is absent.
• Participate in the recruiting process as required.
• Provide management with updates and indicators as requested.
• Remain current on all administrative duties according to company policy.
