The Operations Manager at Steamatic is a dynamic role focused on leading and managing the business operations of a restoration and construction company. This position is crucial for driving growth, ensuring compliance, and achieving financial objectives while maintaining high standards of service in the restoration and cleaning market.   • Manage the day-to-day workflow & operations of the business
  • Establish, manage & ensure the business meets/exceeds financial goals & objectives
  • Assist with the growth of the business into new sectors, such as insurance & construction
  • Meet SLA & KPI requirements driving performance expectations
  • Manage & ensure all staff are compliant with KPI's
  • Ensure the compliance of all works completed
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Construction background with a General Contracting license
  • Proven experience in a business manager / senior manager position
  • Background in the insurance building industry, preferred
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft suite
  • Previous Xactimate experience, highly regarded
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client
  • Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
  • Confident & professional phone manner
  • Dispute resolution skills
  • Experience in & demonstrated understanding of OHS rules & regulation
  • Familiarity with legislations & regulations of the industry
  • Familiarity with current market rates & trades
  • Valid motor vehicle licence
