About The Position

The Operations Manager at Schepers, LLC is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of a residential irrigation installation and services company. This role involves optimizing productivity, coordinating schedules, maintaining high customer satisfaction, ensuring safety and compliance, and managing field service technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills to support the company's growth trajectory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in operations or a management role.
• Prior experience in a consumer-facing service industry, preferably in the green services sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management and field service management software (e.g. Service Titan).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the irrigation or green services industry.
• Strong understanding of field service management technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training processes for field and office staff.
• Work with the President on personnel career progression, development, and retention.
• Manage inventory purchasing and planning, as well as fleet lifecycle planning and asset management.
• Ensure optimal scheduling of crews and Service Technicians.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team on budget development and incentive bonuses.
