About The Position
1-800-PACK-RAT is seeking an Operations Manager to lead one of our local facilities in Benicia, CA. Founded in 2002, our company specializes in providing portable storage solutions that simplify the moving and storage process for our customers. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing facility employees, and implementing operational policies and procedures that align with our strategic goals. Your leadership will inspire your team to exceed customer expectations and maintain a safe and productive work environment. In this role, you will supervise and manage daily operations, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed in accordance with company and DOT regulations. You will be tasked with training employees, managing inventory, and scheduling deliveries to meet customer needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and resolve customer issues will be essential in maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring spending patterns, managing budgets, and assisting with marketing initiatives to promote our services. The Operations Manager will also be involved in making recommendations regarding employee actions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. You will ensure that all equipment, including trucks and forklifts, are properly maintained and operable. Your strategic thinking will help develop initiatives for improving workplace efficiency and safety, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the facility.
