The Operations Manager at Global Medical Response (GMR) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with operational goals and objectives, and managing financial decisions within assigned budgets. This role involves leading local teams, developing and implementing necessary reports, and maintaining high levels of customer service while supporting GMR's values and guiding principles.

  • Manage day-to-day operations to meet GMR's values and strategic goals.
  • Lead local teams to develop and maintain reports for compliance with operational objectives.
  • Analyze markets and develop plans to meet customer demands for out-of-hospital healthcare services.
  • Ensure optimal service levels to agencies, hospitals, and the medical community.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction data and modify processes to enhance service quality.
  • Negotiate contract provisions and modifications with stakeholders.
  • Participate in community and political group interactions to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and control operating budgets for assigned responsibilities.
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities to increase revenues and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and data.
  • Direct clinical management and ensure compliance with GMR policies.
  • Establish disaster planning programs and manage situations during disasters.
  • Set goals and objectives for field operations and communicate them effectively to employees.
  • Manage recruitment, retention, and development of employees.
  • Provide direction and coaching to supervisory staff.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and other applicable laws.
  • Develop and promote work teams for process improvement.
  • Manage inventory and capital budget effectively.
  • Minimum of three years of general management experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in EMS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • Current State EMT/Paramedic License.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification (AHA only).
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong internal and external customer service experience.
