About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the employer near-site clinics, ensuring quality patient care through collaboration with clinical staff. This role involves managing patient access, developing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, all while fostering a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding regulations and requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA medical office regulations.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient access to meet expected volume targets.
  • Meet customer service goals through effective management of access points.
  • Develop departmental operating budget in conjunction with operations and finance, and monitor operational expenses according to established financial targets.
  • Supervise and oversee responsibilities of all near-site clinics' staff to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplies, inventory, and ordering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines including OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and ODH.
  • Provide oversight of patient and insurance processes for appropriate coding and billing requirements.
  • Implement corrective action plans based on employee performance issues and prepare performance reviews.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure contractual agreements are fulfilled.
