About The Position

Our client, a rapidly growing construction and engineering firm, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager/Sr. Construction Manager to play a pivotal role in scaling operations and driving project excellence. As the company expands into new markets and streamlines processes across teams, this leader will oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless project execution. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 15+ years in heavy civil construction operations, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Solid knowledge of civil construction, engineering, and management.
• Experience leading teams across field and office environments.
• Solid hands-on financial and operational skills, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and production oversight.
• OSHA 30 Certification required (or must obtain within 3 months).
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Effective communication skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to set and execute business objectives, standardize SOPs, and drive client satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams across construction, engineering, and management functions.
• Ensure efficient project execution, quality, safety, cost control, and adherence to schedules.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, contract compliance, and risk mitigation practices to protect profitability.
• Support market expansion, proposals, and proactive communication with clients and internal teams.
