About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Supervises superintendents and employees by providing direction and training, and communicating company policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Administers the company safety program, including performing weekly safety audits and emphasizing safety importance to all employees.
  • Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure efficient and cost-effective repairs, spending four hours a day in the field with technicians and customers.
  • Uses accounting reports and Map Point to review route management and callbacks, making necessary changes to improve profitability.
  • Provides technical input to sales staff on the scope of work and materials needed for repair bids, including calculating labor and material costs.
  • Monitors the three callbacks in 30 days program and leads efforts to keep cancellations under 3%.
  • Works with the Branch Manager and service and repair Sales Managers to address customer needs, communicating daily with customers with down cars.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements.
  • Maintains strong familiarity with company products by attending training classes and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods.
  • Administers the parts program for contract service and repair to meet budget expectations and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
