About The Position

The Operations Manager – Rentals is responsible for driving the operational and strategic success of RHOME rental property management businesses nationwide via direct rentals branch support. This role works in collaboration with Senior leadership and Branch Managers across multiple markets, ensuring best-in-class service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and adaptable leader with a deep understanding of 3rd party property management operations and a strong focus on performance, compliance, and growth. This role helps provide business insight and leadership to supported branches, balancing relationships with accountability for improvement, and alignment with Rental leadership strategy. This role requires building strong relationships with branch leaders so their oversight can be transitioned to this manager directly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in property management, preferably in the single-family or vacation rental sector
  • Proven success in strategic planning and performance management
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, operational best practices, and financial oversight within a property management environment
  • Experience driving growth initiatives and client retention strategies in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally as needed
  • Preferred office in a RHOME/Associa Rentals Branch location.

Responsibilities

  • As directed, train, support, and hold accountable Branch Rental leaders nationwide who are responsible for daily field operations and overall client service delivery.
  • Ensure and report that teams are equipped with the tools, resources, and processes necessary to operate in compliance with state laws and regulations and according to industry best practices.
  • Help develop and implement strategic plans and measurable goals across all branches focused on:
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction
  • Operational Excellence & Service Quality
  • Financial Management & Profitability
  • Business Development Growth
  • Monitor regional and branch-level performance metrics and take proactive steps to address underperformance or seize growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and Sales teams at the national level to align business operations, resolve challenges, and enhance both internal workflows and the client experience.
  • Champion a strong company culture and promote talent development, including recruiting, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Lead initiatives to improve branch performance through coaching, accountability, and continuous process optimization.
  • Help drive key performance initiatives and budget targets in partnership with the RHOME Rentals Executive Team.
  • Serve as a visible and hands-on leader, regularly engaging with teams in the field; travel may be required to support operational oversight and strategic planning across regions.
