About The Position

The Operations Manager for Parking Field Ops & Shuttles at Ohio University is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities related to parking enforcement, field operations, and campus shuttle services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year work-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial responsibilities
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain an Underground Storage Tank (UST) Class C Operator Certification within 30 days of employment
  • Understanding of Federal Transit Administration (FTA), DOT Operator & CDL status, and ADA parking requirements within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement day-to-day operational activities for parking enforcement and shuttle services.
  • Supervise and manage a team of parking ambassadors, drivers, and enforcement staff.
  • Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations in all operational activities.
  • Plan and schedule resources for parking and shuttle services to meet departmental needs.
  • Serve as the primary emergency contact for resolving complex service issues after hours.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures and compliance records.
  • Compile and analyze operational data to inform service improvements and planning efforts.
  • Provide support for major events requiring transportation and parking resources.
