About The Position

The Operations Manager at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance in the operations workflow. This role involves engaging with team members, driving productivity improvements through data-driven decisions, and maintaining customer delivery expectations. The Operations Manager will oversee large-scope projects and collaborate with various support teams to meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Lean Process improvement
  • Mid-level performance management experience

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
  • Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
  • Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and determining productivity requirements
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Engage with team members during shifts to maintain high performance levels
