  • Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the operations and budget of your responsible departments
  • Research and recommend new procedures and/or technologies to improve service levels
  • Develop department operations policies and communicate this information to staff
  • Implement profit improvement plans
  • Develop and exceed key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the responsible departments
  • Review reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak periods and issue work assignments
  • Remain current with the latest warehouse operations technology systems and procedures
  • Interview, select, coach, train, manage and develop the performance of departments
  • Create a positive work environment for all employees and foster strong company culture
  • Plan, develop, and implement department health and safety, and security programs and activities
  • Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage 50+ employees, including Leads and Supervisors
  • Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes
  • Customer service obsession, with a willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs
  • Excitement about working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of growth and change
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
  • Metrics-driven mindset
  • Excellent oral and written English communication
  • Flexible to work weekends and late shifts
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of freight expense and carrier selection a plus
  • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment
