About The Position

Conrac Solutions seeks an Operations Manager, Maintenance to support us in overseeing and managing consolidated rental car facilities at multiple locations located at the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport. Conrac Solutions strategically partners with industry to manage consolidated rental car facilities at airports across the country. Our buildings house the sophisticated rental car companies’ operations and include but are not limited to car washes, fueling stations, garbage services, water reclaim systems, etc. This role is responsible for providing direction to assistant managers, maintenance engineers, maintenance technicians, and vendors to ensure processes are clearly defined and effectively implemented to support multiple operating sites. Under general direction from the Director, the Operations Manager coordinates work across sites to execute timely inspection, maintenance, and repair work. Timing and task descriptions are defined using facility management principles, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices to achieve the lowest total operating cost. Responsibilities include serving as subject matter expert and a resource to other staff on all specified service topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. May be substituted with High School Diploma and 6 years of experience in a similar management role.
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry management experience.
  • Complete knowledge of facility equipment and facility maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety principles and practices.
  • Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient typing skills are also required.
  • Professional in appearance and character.

Responsibilities

  • Lead department team of employees and vendors, setting direction and performance goals.
  • Coordinate and delegate remote employees to cover various areas of responsibility.
  • Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead improvement.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Ensure work completed by staff and contractors has been completed satisfactorily. Provide feedback and set expectations, following up on any deficiencies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of individual area of expertise. Provide updates to team as needed.
  • Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities of the organization.
  • Establish good working relationship with other team members.
  • Foster positive communications and relationships with tenants, owners, and building staff.
