About The Position

As an Operations Manager Intern at Target's Regional Distribution Center in Pueblo, CO, you will experience firsthand what it’s like to lead a team within a supply chain facility. This internship is a paid, hands-on training program designed to develop and prepare you for a future in operations leadership. You will work closely with other managers and team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of how Target's supply chain operates and what it takes to excel in a management role. Your responsibilities will include leading and supporting daily operations, motivating and influencing team members, and learning to manage a department effectively. Throughout the internship, you will be paired with a mentor who will guide you in understanding effective leadership strategies while providing insights into various business areas and functions within the distribution center. You will engage in problem-solving, conduct real-time observations, and drive results, all while prioritizing safety and maximizing productivity to ensure timely delivery of products to guests. Your development will be a top priority, with ongoing conversations with your mentor and manager to support your growth.
