The Operations Manager II provides administrative leadership and operational accountability for assigned department(s), specifically within Ophthalmology. This role is responsible for business and market development, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory activities. Key functions include developing, revising, and auditing department policies and procedures, creating comprehensive business plans (including budgets, market analyses, and growth strategies), and overseeing the implementation of strategic and tactical operational plans. The manager is also accountable for the financial performance of their areas, budget achievement, and staff engagement through formal and informal interactions. Employee relations, staff skill development, patient safety education, and regulatory compliance monitoring are also critical aspects of the role. Furthermore, the position directs activities to meet patient access and efficiency goals, guides outpatient care management, and manages facility maintenance, cleanliness, security, and purchasing activities.
