About The Position

Priority Plumbing and Heating is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager with a proven track record of driving performance and leading teams. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring consistent execution across the business. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable while maintaining high standards of efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. A background within the home services industry is strongly preferred, particularly for those who have grown into leadership roles and bring a deep understanding of operational best practices, systems, policies, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Five (5)+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential HVAC or related home services.
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L for operations of $3 mill + in revenue and teams of 10+ employees.
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC service, installation, and operational best practices.
  • Experience leading through growth or transition, ideally within a PE-backed or multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency with ServiceTitan or similar field management software preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and the ability to balance big-picture planning with tactical execution.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills with a track record of inspiring teams and driving results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day operations, including Sales, Service, Installation, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  • Partner closely with the parent company’s leadership to align short- and long-term strategic goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with the company’s founder, who continues to play a key role in the business, ensuring smooth leadership transition and shared success.
  • Develop and execute the annual business plan and budget, managing performance against revenue, EBITDA, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Drive operational excellence by leveraging KPIs, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.
  • Oversee adoption and continuous improvement of field service platforms such as ServiceTitan.
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team while maintaining a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement, customer experience, and community reputation.
