Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Availability to work special shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for running the day-to-day activities of a DOT-regulated shuttle operation including supervision of employees, maintaining client relations, and ensuring company standards are upheld.
• Oversee customer relations to ensure that complaints, disagreements or misunderstandings about the shuttle bus operation or service are resolved diplomatically.
• Oversee daily shuttle bus operation.
• Supervise the quality of work for all employees to ensure that all work tasks and assignments are performed efficiently, effectively, and as required.
• Ensure that proper shuttle operations, security, cash control and customer service procedures are being followed by all employees.
• Handle all personnel issues and paperwork for hiring, termination and training of support staff.
• Supervise shuttle operations to ensure that incoming customers are served efficiently and properly.
• Monitor maintenance of the operation to ensure that it is clean and maintained according to company policies and procedures.
• Handle general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.
• Monitor and review all damage claims in order to assign responsibility for damages.
• Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims.
