About The Position

Catholic Charities Maine Behavioral Health Network in Portland has a full-time opening for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager (O.M.) will coordinate with the Core Leadership Team and at the direction of the Regional Director, responding to the daily operational needs of BHN South programs. The O.M. will maintain a safe and functional workspace, supervise the Team Support Staff, troubleshoot IT, phone, and facility concerns, and oversee scheduling, inventory, and office supply coordination. The position requires working in an office setting and may involve travel to community and home settings. The O.M. position is salaried and includes scheduled evening and weekend support to the program.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associates Level Degree or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience and/or training in administrative oversight and supervision.
  • Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician Certification (MHRT-C or provisional) is strongly preferred.
  • Three to six years of progressive supervisory experience, including office, facility, and personnel management.
  • Data tracking and monitoring of quality and contract outcomes.
  • Computer literacy including electronic health records, Excel, and telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to function as a team member and maintain timely and accurate communication across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operational needs of BHN South programs.
  • Maintain a safe and functional workspace.

  • Communicate and troubleshoot IT, phone, and facility concerns.
  • Identify and arrange coverage for gaps in day-to-day programming.
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory, and office supply coordination.
  • Support team members in sustaining consistent performance in alignment with state, agency, and programmatic goals.
