Requirements

  • Experience with trade math with complicated drawings preferred
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments preferred
  • Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, solid state and PLC systems.
  • Ability to work independently
  • High School or GED required
  • 1-2 Years in Manufacturing environment preferred

  • Associates Degree: Industrial Controls or Industrial Maintenance or Related Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.
  • Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operation required in compliance with all safety requirements
  • Performs entry to mid-level reactive and planned maintenance as directed.
  • Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
  • Complete job assignments and preventive maintenance, TPM events and maintenance work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and correction of equipment that utilizes Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s)
  • Suggest improvements to equipment controls and work with team to implement
  • Work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, and other related documents.
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Orders supplies and repair items as necessary.
  • Maintains the grounds and building exterior by performing any one of the following technical disciplines: routine electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
  • May set up and operate equipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would be a lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
