The Operations and Maintenance Technician (OMT) play a crucial role in our rapidly growing company. The OMT will focus on operations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our renewable microgrid systems. BoxPower is seeking an energetic, organized, flexible candidate, who is eager to learn and multi-task in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing company. The OMT will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our remote microgrids through performing preventative/proactive maintenance, active monitoring, pre. The OMT’s role is vital in upholding our successful track record of near 100% reliability, while advancing our mission of providing clean and cost-effective energy solutions. This role reports to the Sr. Service Operations Manager. This role has no direct reports. This role is based “in-office” locally at BoxPower HQ in Grass Valley, CA and blended with travel ~50% of the time to scenic remote sites across the Western US. Transportation, accommodation and per-diems are covered as part of travel.
