About The Position

The Operations & Maintenance Technician IV (O&M Tech IV) is a senior-level position within the Valley Team at the Joseph Jensen Water Treatment Plant. This role focuses on the maintenance and operation of pipelines and associated structures that transport untreated and treated water. The technician will handle flow changes, pressure adjustments, and valve maintenance, ensuring the efficient functioning of water distribution systems across a wide service area. The position may require flexibility in hours, including on-call duties and extended shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 years in a mechanical maintenance position at a water agency or similar environment.
• Journey level skills through a recognized mechanical trade training program.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
• Welding Certification.
