The Operations & Maintenance Supervisor for the Roadway Maintenance Division is responsible for directing the daily activities of an average of fifteen employees, including a Field Supervisor, Crew Leaders, Sign Technicians, and Sign Fabrication Technicians. This position is an opportunity to use your skills, training, and strengths to lead a team that responds to customer concerns and performs scheduled maintenance for the safety of the traveling public. You will get a feeling of accomplishment by directly serving the needs of residents through supervising a team of roadway specialists, managing emergency situations, and monitoring goals and objectives to meet the department's priorities. Your work will impact the citizens of Maricopa County by problem-solving to mitigate issues and find solutions to extend the life of our transportation assets. You will have direct interaction with internal and external customers, including employees, residents, and other agencies.
