About The Position

As an Operations Learning & Development Partner at MGM National Harbor, you’ll play a key role in developing leaders and shaping the employee experience across the property. You’ll partner closely with HR, Guest Experience, and Operations teams to deliver impactful learning programs, elevate department capabilities, and strengthen our culture. From analyzing employee feedback trends to collaborating with department leaders to turn insights into action, you will ensure teams are prepared to welcome and train new hires, support enterprise learning initiatives, and help drive operational excellence through data‑informed development strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least one (1) year of adult learning/training/facilitation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience using survey tools and platforms such as Workday or other LMS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead New Hire Orientation & Learning Programs - Support onboarding and deliver enterprise-wide learning initiatives that build strong first‑day experiences.
  • Consult with HR & Operations Leaders - Identify development needs using insights from guest feedback, operational data, and employee surveys.
  • Leverage Learning Technology - Use LMS and digital tools to deliver training, track progress, and provide leaders with capability and compliance dashboards.
  • Analyze Learning Data - Review participation, satisfaction, and performance metrics to generate meaningful recommendations and business-impact insights.
  • Recommend Training Enhancements - Identify and propose alternative learning methods to improve effectiveness and engagement.
  • Conduct Needs & Gap Analyses - Partner with operational experts to diagnose challenges and design targeted, custom learning solutions.
  • Oversee LMS Reporting & Documentation - Maintain accurate reporting, data integrity, and learning records within the LMS.
  • Manage Training Center Operations - Coordinate room setup, materials, schedules, inventory, and resources to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Support Career Development - Guide team members toward internal learning opportunities and advancement pathways.
  • Deliver Exceptional Internal Guest Service - Resolve concerns within scope and escalate issues when necessary to protect the team and environment.
