Operations Leadership Development Associate (Field-Based)

This field-based role gives you unmatched exposure to branch operations, logistics, safety, sales, quality, and continuous improvement — preparing you for future leadership opportunities within 18–24 months based on performance. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days look the same. What You’ll Do You’ll travel to branch locations across the country (approximately 50%) to: Support branch teams in improving daily operations Conduct operational reviews and help solve real-time challenges Coach and partner with Branch Operations Managers Learn core processes including logistics, inventory, billing, and customer service Manage branches as needs arise Collaborate with Safety, Quality, and Lean (JPS) teams to identify opportunities Lead or support key operational improvement projects Build relationships across the organization and gain broad business exposure What You’ll Gain A deep understanding of how a national distribution network operates Mentorship from senior leaders Experience across multiple departments, positioning you for future growth opportunities A pathway to growth and leadership roles such as Branch Operations Manager, Department Team Leader or Manager, Regional Operations Manager or other growth opportunities within the organization Ownership in a billion-dollar ESOP company What You Bring Associate degree or higher preferred Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Adaptability to different environments and personalities Willingness to travel (50% of the time) and work flexible hours as needed Interest in a long-term leadership career Compensation & Benefits $50,000+ annually, based on experience Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage after 30 days PTO + 10 paid holidays after 30 days Two retirement plans: 401(k) + Employee Stock Ownership Program Extensive on-the-job training Career advancement opportunities in as little as 18 months
