About the position

As a Solutions Leader on Duty at Petco, you will oversee the efficient operations of the Pet Care Center, ensuring that guests and their pets receive the best possible experience. This role involves leading a team, managing sales transactions, maintaining stock and pricing, and upholding safety and operational standards. A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center.
• Support guest interactions and provide a great experience for each guest.
• Coach partners on guest-centric programs and sales targets.
• Process register transactions to enhance guest experience.
• Support the overall Omni Guest Experience through execution and training.
• Function as Leader on Duty for training and communication of company initiatives.
• Promote a positive leadership culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in mathematics and above-average communication skills.
• Genuine interest in animal welfare and care.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
