About The Position

The Operations Lead at Flexdrive, a subsidiary of Lyft, is responsible for leading a team and overseeing a fleet of vehicles to ensure operational excellence and support Lyft drivers through the Express Drive program. This role involves driving performance metrics, fostering team development, and managing relationships with vendors and partners to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time.

Requirements

• 4 years experience managing Retail, customer service, or vehicle rental team.
• 3+ years managing hard assets in a fleet management business preferred.
• Experience managing vendors and partners.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and switch modes during the workday/week.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for market's business health and delivering on Flexdrive OKRs by analyzing market level data for performance gaps.
• Lead the team assisting Lyft drivers through the end-to-end rental process of the Express Drive Program.
• Foster team member growth and development through regular 1:1 meetings and professional development discussions.
• Drive high utilization metrics by managing the vehicle supply lifecycle and reducing out-of-service vehicle time.
• Responsible for talent retention and onboarding new team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site maintenance, security, and safety.
