About The Position

International's Procurement team is seeking a dedicated Operations Lead - Tariff & Trade to join our Lisle, IL office. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical tariff and trade operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience, with 1 year lead experience.
  • OR a Master's degree and at least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience, with 1 year lead experience.
  • OR at least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience, with 1 year lead experience.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commodity Management Teams (CMTs) to efficiently manage supplier tariff impacts.
  • Lead Tariff Committee Meetings.
  • Manage standardized workflow for tariff risks; schedule and establish Committee meeting agendas.
  • Document, coordinate communication, archive for Committee Records of Decision to the broader Procurement organization.
  • Plan and execute other tariff-related mitigation projects.
  • Support processes to ensure compliance to the USMCA Agreement.
  • Manage standardized workflow for USMCA analysis under forward sourcing processes and the USMCA Escalation Process.
  • Support development and execution of key source localization projects to improve compliance to Regional Value Content (RVC) requirements.
  • Provide support to Corporate Trade Compliance and the USMCA Modeling Sub-Committee.
  • Develop detailed project plans and perform critical path analysis using Microsoft Project, as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional resolution of a wide range of complex problems in innovative ways, including issues where precedent may not exist.
  • Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
  • Coordinate cross-functional risk and issues investigations and mitigation.
  • May instruct, coach or provide informal guidance to colleagues with less experience.
  • Present project status to Senior Procurement management and Executive level audiences.
  • Identify needed resources for cross functional project teams.
