The Operations Lead in Training (OLIT) role is designed for high‑performing team members who are eager to grow, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and learn what it takes to guide a high‑performing team while modeling Mister Car Wash’s operational and service standards. This role reflects our commitment to developing the leaders who power our success, offering a structured opportunity to deepen your operational expertise, build foundational leadership skills, and learn directly from experienced leaders. As the entry point into our Operations Leadership Program, the OLIT role equips driven team members to support their peers, elevate performance, and prepare for future leadership opportunities.

Requirements

• Lead by example and support others with clear communication and follow‑through.
• Stay adaptable and steady when operations get busy or priorities shift.
• Enjoy helping teammates grow through encouragement, teamwork, and basic coaching.
• Are ready to build foundational leadership skills and prepare for future opportunities at Mister.
• In good standing with no active counseling reports.
• At least 90 days experience at Mister.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of daily operations, including opening and closing routines, wash quality, safety, and maintaining smooth site flow.
• Build your customer‑service confidence by modeling great service, supporting Guest Service Specialists, and championing Unlimited Wash Club® memberships.
• Grow your leadership skills by helping onboard new teammates, supporting cross-training, and reinforcing daily expectations during team huddles.
• Strengthen your operational knowledge by mastering all core roles and contributing to consistent execution across the site.
• Gain exposure to essential management practices—basic decision‑making, communication, task coordination, and completing Operations Leadership Program I (OLP I) training.
• Learn basic functional and mechanical skills that support equipment readiness and overall site performance.
