Oversees and participates in the duties of assigned area to include shared accountability of a specific portion of an operations function. Participates in multifunctions of the area including manufacturing, warehouse equipment and facilities. . Aids in problem solving, associate engagement and addressing issues..

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED, or relevant experience may be considered
  • Extensive knowledge of technologies and methods of operations area, typically acquired through a minimum of, 2 years of work experience at a leadership level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines and practices.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively
  • Requires excellent knowledge of procedures, tools, techniques, materials,and equipment used in the area.
  • Detail Oreiented with ability to inspect work for accuracy and adherences to policies.
  • Safely handle chemicals in coordination with company policy and OSHA requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Works independently and is capable of making routine decisions.
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule and execute processes with required resources.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of process controls and process improvement techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with other associates by using good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Manufacturing Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, and hand/finger dexterity.
  • Must be able to work in a clean room environment, adhere to associated policies, and perform gowning of clean room attire in the allotted time prior to start up.
  • Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.
  • Requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity including ability to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to work under florescent lighting.
  • Requires the ability to stand or walk through the duration of a shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and supervision to team.
  • Follows up to ensure work activities are completed satisfactorly.
  • Leads, coaches and provides effective feedback.
  • Contributes to associate evaluations.
  • Is the subject matter expert (SME) and able to represent your area when needed
  • Daily coordination with Training department to provide training to all areas of responsibility on SOP’s, department procedures, and certifications.
  • Oversees and coordinates aspects of all area workflows (i.e. people, products, and materials) to meet Master Schedule requirements.
  • Coordinates work assignments within all areas including training, technical support and/or process/trouble shooting support and scheduling.
  • Reviews and approves regulatory paperwork completed for the area
  • Works with internal resources to resolve problems and provides input to improve procedures.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and environmental and safety requirements.
  • Coordinates with other departments cross functionally to provide support as needed
  • Maintains personal accountability for process quality and product quantity.
  • Assists employees in resolving conflicts.
  • Assist in facilitating group meetings
  • Responsible for the paperwork to start up and shut down the area
  • Must be flexible with work schedule.
  • May be required to handle, Collect, Label, and/or transfer hazardous chemical waste following established procedures and guidelines.
  • May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Coordinates cycle count activities as required
