About The Position

The Operations Internship is a hands-on role designed for students pursuing degrees in Supply Chain Logistics, Production or Operations Management, or related fields. Interns will work closely with Assistant Managers to ensure the smooth flow of materials in and out of the facility, contributing to daily production needs and quality control processes. This internship offers practical experience in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to develop supervisory skills and gain insights into operations management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Production or Operations Management, Industrial Technology Management, Business Management, General Management, or related majors.
• Junior or Senior standing; recent graduates may be considered.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with a variety of personality types.
• Ability to effectively motivate temporary employees.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production of single item and miscellaneous shipments by meeting with the receiving leads.
• Supervise the completion of quality control inspections.
• Train, direct, and delegate tasks to temporary employees.
• Monitor department and employee production rates.
• Investigate problems pertaining to running the line.
