We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our team for an unpaid three month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for students with a data science or technical background to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the process of securities lending and borrowing, contract compare and reconciliation, corporate action, mark to market, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with the trading desk, custodians, and external brokers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Applying Excel and third party systems in real-world business processes to solve problems and improve workflows.
• Understanding how compliance and regulatory requirements impact daily operations and decision-making.
• Collaborating with various team members across the Operations department in a rotational structure, allowing you to gain exposure to multiple functions and operational processes.
• Supporting daily operational workflow with a strong focus on account verification and data integrity.
