As an Operations Intern with ACD in Newark, CA, you will gain hands-on experience in operations, supporting daily functions, leading and assisting with projects, and learning essential operational skills under the guidance of our team, with duties including task execution, process improvement, and data analysis.

  • Assist with tasks related to daily operations, such as data entry, report preparation, tracking & developing key performance metrics, and other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to various projects by performing research, gathering data, and providing necessary support related to Manufacturing/Operation Documents and Processes.
  • Identify and propose process improvement opportunities in the operations team, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the team by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for operational reports and decision making.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related STEM.
  • Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college.
  • Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with databases.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and accurately execute tasks.
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems and suggest potential solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
