About The Position

The Intern Operations (AMR Logistics) will be responsible for developing, reviewing existing tools, reports, measurements and metrics to help us understand the efficiencies and improvements needed to our DC network [NAM & LAT]. This is not a role where linear programming is needed to decide on locations, rather it is to measure how effectively we are using our current network, data, measurements and reports.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Tableau
• Strong analytical skills and experience preferred
• Passion and interest in supply chain functions
• Proficient in taking complex data and communicating in clearly
• Fluent in English, verbal and in writing. Spanish and/or Portuguese verbal and in writing is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Undergraduate 3rd/4th year or graduate student (major in Supply Chain, Operations Management or MBA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, external partners and Logistics to understand all data and processes that go into reports, platforms a multi-DC network.
• Discover and use data provided to measure efficiency and make suggestions for future improvements.
• Build tools/metrics that bring data together to measure performance of our network. (Cost, Lead Time, Customer Service, Inventory and/or other AMR Logistics key metrics)
