Job Description We are looking for a talented teammate… To join our team as an Operations Intern! CLEAResult is a consulting firm that designs and implements energy efficiency programs nationwide. This internship will support the newly launched Quality Oversight department by helping design and pilot a Quality Compliance Score and Minimum Standards Assessment. The intern will translate defined quality and inspection standards into measurable, data‑driven criteria and develop an analytical scoring framework that evaluates how close individual programs are to meeting established minimum standards. The role offers hands‑on experience in data analysis, process design, and executive-level communication, with meaningful exposure to enterprise quality and operations work. This hybrid role requires you to meet in person one day a week, in the Madison, WI area.

Requirements

  • Active enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2026
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, English, Process Engineering, or a related field
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (early June – early August )
  • Based in the Madison area
  • Interest and ambitious to work in fast-paced energy efficiency industry
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

  • Translate established quality and inspection standards into clear, measurable assessment criteria
  • Analyze program‑level data such as inspection coverage and documentation completeness to identify gaps and trends
  • Design and build a Quality Compliance Scoring Model that quantifies progress toward minimum standards
  • Pilot the scoring framework across a subset of programs and evaluate results
  • Develop executive‑ready materials, including PowerPoint presentations and summary visuals, to communicate findings and recommendations
