About The Position

The Operations Intern will use continuous improvement concepts to identify manufacturing standards, best practices, and work with other business functions to maximize performance. This person will also assist in ensuring that all products and processes meet quality standards while working with department leaders. This internship will be heavily project based. The project will be operations in nature and will align with the company’s biggest operational initiative for the summer.

Requirements

• Must be a sophomore or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, data science, business/management quantitative methods, mechanical drafting/CAD technology, mechanical engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Production Scheduling, warehousing, or ERP systems.
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers/software, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute and lead special projects, including conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing presentations.
• Assist with daily operations by supporting day-to-day operational activities including data entry, report generations, and process documentation.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work with different departments to understand their operational needs and assist with coordinating inter-departmental initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
