The Operations Interface Manager functions as a primary Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering interface with project managers and partners coordinating systems testing and deployment from construction to system startup and operation.
Provide daily management oversight of testing activities for systems testing, construction and startup.
Develop plant operating, maintenance and work control program elements applicable to Operations.
Serve as primary point of contact for project management and design team to instill operating and maintenance program philosophies into the plant design, testing and construction.
Review technical documents, drawings, plans, schedules and other documents to provide input for operational and maintenance requirements for plant design, testing and construction.
Perform preparation activities to support modification acceptance for system turnover from Engineering and/or construction.
In the absence of the Process Area Manager or Senior Shift Supervisor may be delegated responsibilities.
Develop program procedures and other required documents for multiple organizations in accordance with the Plant License Application.
May be asked to perform and facilitate training, drills, and exercises within Operations and Maintenance.
Review, approve, and coordinate the execution of system test plans to ensure the testing proves component functionality and systems requirements documents are satisfied.
Perform change evaluations as needed.
Coordinate Operations and Maintenance activities to support Internal Readiness Reviews, and Operational Readiness Reviews.
Develop staffing plans and budgets for operating and maintaining the plant.
Has authority to propose, develop and/or implement new procedures or revise existing procedures as necessary to fulfill mission objectives within the License.
3+ years of industrial, chemical, nuclear plant operations, maintenance, engineering, support experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar rigorous industry or military job family.
2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, the physical sciences, Business Management or equivalent technical/military experience.
5+ years of industrial, chemical, nuclear plant operations, maintenance, engineering, support experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar rigorous industry or military job family.
5+ years of management or supervisory experience, preferably within Operations, Maintenance, or Engineering.
