About The Position

This role will be located in Tewksbury, MA. How will you make an impact As the Finance Manager you will be the primary finance business partner for the site operations director and management team. You will be leading and inspiring a team of strong, enthusiastic finance professionals to support the business in financial planning and reporting as well as decision making on investments and future proofing the organization financially.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and business partner skills. Lead by example, support and challenge business partners and hold teams accountable to commitments and results
  • Strong business sense and ability to think beyond financial implications only
  • Proven ability to organize, analyze, present and report results
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills are required to collaborate with various partners
  • Experience in a global manufacturing organization, as well as development of product cost methodologies
  • Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives
  • Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills
  • Organized multitasker: workload prioritization, enable the team to meet timelines while achieving results, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Manufacturing/Distribution experience
  • A minimum of 5 years progressive experience as a financial and people leader

Responsibilities

  • Primary business partner for the site operations director as well as key member of the site leadership team
  • Lead financial analyst to drive analysis of operating results (I.E. Spend versus AOP, forecast and prior year, operations productivity and service targets)
  • Management of Capital Expenditure including forecast accuracy and spend governance, preparation of investment proposals and approval management.
  • Lead development of financial forecasts and annual budget (AOP), identifying areas of risk and opportunity
  • Ensure adherence to Divisional Approval Authority Matrix/Corporate accounting policies
  • Challenge business standards and manufacturing standards to identify risks and opportunities within manufacturing/supply chain.
  • Lead analysis of productivity results and drive improvements in line with productivity targets
  • Validate site productivity savings ensuring savings bridge to the P&L
  • Perform or lead special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required
